Kevin Nagle outlines Huddersfield Town aims ahead of Bolton Wanderers and Birmingham City tests
Huddersfield Town owner Kevin Nagle believes his side have a “really good shot” at taking maximum points from their next three matches over the coming week.
The Terriers host ninth-placed Bolton Wanderers next up at the John Smith’s Stadium tomorrow lunchtime before taking on leaders Birmingham City also at home on Tuesday evening. They then face fifth-from-bottom Northampton Town next weekend.
Michael Duff’s side head into the matches off the back of a 16-game League One unbeaten run that leaves them fourth in the table, on 48 points from 25 matches played.

American businessman Nagle, who is set to be in the UK for the upcoming games, expressed his optimism that the Terriers can keep their streak going with some more victories.
“I’m excited, I’m coming this next week, I hope to be there Friday. We’re going to watch the match on Saturday,” the Town owner confirmed in his diary on X earlier this week.
“I think by the time we get done, there’s about nine points of an opportunity that I think that we have a really good shot for.”
The Terriers head into the games off the back of a 2-2 draw at Blackpool on Saturday where new recruit Joe Taylor and Brodie Spencer netted in five minutes after the restart to salvage a point.
Taylor and fellow striker signing Dion Charles are in line to make their home debuts this weekend, with the latter set to come up against his former club.
Nagle believes that Town’s reinforcements leave them well placed to achieve their aims this season, saying: “Obviously, as a lot of people will say, the proof will be in the pudding, and I think that as we start to play, and the second half gets more mature, we’re going to see what these signings did for us.
“I think right now, people can’t disagree that we’ve had some really impact signings. I’ve read around, seen podcasts and other written documentation right now that obviously the biggest signings in this window really in League One have come from us. That’s only because I believe that we’re serious about what it is we want to do, and that’s get promoted.”
