Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall tipped for January transfer as Leicester City transfer truth made clear
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could be on the move this month – even if he does not return to Leicester City.
The Chelsea midfielder has been linked with a King Power Stadium comeback in the January transfer window with his £30m switch to rejoin Enzo Maresca failing to pay off. He’s played just 55 minutes of Premier League football this season and hasn’t even made the bench for the past four fixtures.
Naturally, City have been linked with a move for their homegrown hero, even if he’s not really what they need. A centre-back, a full-back, and a winger are bigger priorities right now with Ruud van Nistelrooy well-stocked on midfield options, particularly in the advanced roles where Bilal El Khannouss has been performing well.

But even if City don’t take a look at Dewsbury-Hall, he may get a move after all. West Ham want a midfielder this month, the Telegraph report, with Dewsbury-Hall and his Chelsea team-mate Carney Chukwuemeka on their radar.
A striker seems to be the priority at West Ham, who have lost Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio to injury. But they’re keen on a midfielder too. Injuries to key forwards means they’re probably still considered a relegation rival to City, even if the Hammers are currently seven points above the drop zone.
If Dewsbury-Hall does go to the London Stadium, it’s unclear who his manager will be. Julen Lopetegui has been under heavy pressure and there are suggestions that he could be sacked in the near future.
