'Knows no limits' - Liverpool dressing room reaction to Champions League boost
The Liverpool dressing room certainly enjoyed the win over Lille in the Champions League. The Reds recorded a 2-1 win over the French club at Anfield on Tuesday night to secure a spot in the last-16 of the competition.
Goals from Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott secured the win for Liverpool to maintain their 100 per cent record in Europe this season. Arne Slot's side have won all seven of their league phase fixtures in the Champions League and have a three-point lead over second-placed Barcelona.
A point in their final fixture against PSV Eindhoven would be enough for Liverpool to guarantee the top spot in the league phase of the competition. Finishing in the top eight automatically means the Reds will bypass the play-off round and look ahead to the last-16 stage later this season.

Several Liverpool players issued messages after the win over Lille on Tuesday night. Alexis Mac Allister was introduced in place of Ryan Gravenberch at half-time and praised his teammates following the victory at Anfield.
"The effort of this team knows no limits," wrote Mac Allister on Instagram. "Time to rest and prepare for the next one."
The game was also a big occasion for Jarell Quansah, who was handed his first start in the Champions League for Liverpool. The centre-back wrote on Instagram: "First Champions League start!"
Conor Bradley also congratulated his Liverpool teammates after starring at right-back against Lille. The Northern Ireland international played 86 minutes in the win before being replaced by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
"Another win in the Champions League," wrote Bradley on Instagram. "Well done boys."
Liverpool will now prepare to face Ipswich Town in the Premier League this weekend before travelling to face PSV next midweek in their final league phase fixture in the Champions League.
