Kris Boyd in Celtic fan barb as Green Brigade warned not to 'upset' Brendan Rodgers
Kris Boyd has urged the Green Brigade to be on their best behaviour tonight - or risk winding up Brendan Rodgers again.
Rodgers let rip at Celtic diehards after Sunday's 3-0 win over St Mirren when he hit out at fans for groaning when the scores were level - and then chanting the name of returning hero Kieran Tierney in the final stages. The Hoops manager's shock post-match comments have sparked huge debate among the Parkhead faithful, with a section of supporters accusing the Northern Irishman of overreacting.
Rodgers doubled down on his stance at yesterday's press conference, insisting he had every right to vent his emotions. He could be in for an uneasy reception from Celts ultras tonight, who have never forgiven him for walking out on the club in 2019. And ex-Rangers striker Boyd joked that the Green Brigade better revise their songbook in order to keep Treble-chasing boss Rodgers happy.

He told Sky Sports: "I think Celtic Park is a very difficult place to go. We've seen the record that Celtic have had over there for a period of time now and they'll be looking to continue that tonight. I think it'll be an interesting one. The fans better not be singing about past managers or past players, that will upset Brendan Rodgers again.
"But I fully expect his team to get the three points tonight. Jim Goodwin has done a terrific job with Dundee United and they'll be looking to go and frustrate Celtic. But you just get the feeling that Celtic, especially in the forward areas, they've got too much and will eventually break Dundee United down."
