Hearts star Kye Rowles is expected to be given the green light to complete his move to DC United next week.

The Major League Soccer outfit has been in talks with the Jambos over their Australian international. A deal in excess of £600,000 is close to being agreed. Rowles is expected to make the move after Sunday’s Premiership clash at Aberdeen. The 26-year-old played in the win over Dundee United and impressed.

Rowles has been at Tynecastle for three years since he made the move from Central Coast Mariners. Hearts have already lined up his replacement in Jamie McCart. He arrived from Rotherham and made a cameo appearance at Tannadice. McCart and Elton Kabangu have both arrived this month after recommendations from Jamestown Analytics. Striker Kabangu has been given a work permit to make his Hearts bow this weekend.
