Kylian Mbappe verdict on Randal Kolo Muani should excite Man United fans amid transfer links
Real Madrid and France star Kylian Mbappe has previously described Randal Kolo Muani has a "very complete player" amid reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.
According to a report by The Athletic, United are 'actively exploring' a deal to sign him in this month's transfer window. It is claimed the Reds, along with Tottenham Hotspur, want to sign the Paris Saint-Germain attacker on loan.
United have struggled to score goals this season, netting just 23 in their opening 20 Premier League matches, and desperately need to source an alternative option to Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee at the tip of their attack.

United do not have a budget for this month's window but head coach Ruben Amorim, speaking at his pre-Liverpool press conference last Friday, said the club will "try to do something" ahead of the deadline on February 3. However, any hopes the Portuguese chief has of adding to his squad will rest on outgoings.
United trio Marcus Rashford, Antony and Zirkzee are all being linked with exits, each attracting interest from abroad, and the possibility of them leaving Old Trafford will free up both spaces and funds to bring in new recruits. It is widely felt that United would benefit from signing a left-sided wing-back and a striker this month.
Kolo Muani joined PSG from German club Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023 for an eye-watering transfer fee, understood to be worth north of £60million before add-ons. However, he has scored just 11 goals in 54 appearances.
Struggling for game time this season, Kolo Muani, who has netted two goals in 14 games, could be a realistic option for United to bolster their attack. He was heavily linked with the club prior to moving to PSG after a stellar spell at Frankfurt, in which he scored 23 goals and registered 17 assists in 2022/23.
Kolo Muani has also represented France at senior level and was part of the side that reached a second consecutive World Cup final in 2022. He played in the final in Qatar and teammate Mbappe, of course, netted a hat-trick.
Mbappe, who was with Kolo Muani at PSG last season before moving to Madrid last summer, is a fan of his fellow countryman, lauding him in March 2023 after an international clash with the Netherlands.
"He is a striker who offers different game options to our team," said Mbappe. "He is very complete and has an impressive volume of play.
"We are happy with the game he played on Friday and I hope he scores tomorrow (Monday). We will try to get him to score a goal."
Kolo Muani has plundered eight goals in 27 games for France at senior level. He scored three times in their recent UEFA Nations League campaign and netted the opener in his country's 2-1 defeat to Spain in the semi-final of the European Championship in Germany last summer.
