Kyogo sends emotional Celtic transfer exit message as departing hero names 3 unforgettable moments
Kyogo penned an emotional farewell as he thanked Celtic fans for their “unconditional support” after sealing his £10million move to French clubs Rennes.
The former Hoops hero spent four years at Parkhead and became a darling of the support with his big game goals among his 85 strikes. The 30-year-old striker was signed by Ange Postecoglou from Vissel Kobe but ended his time at Celtic, with Brendan Rodgers revealing he wanted to leave.
Kyogo has now taken to Instagram to say: “I would like to thank each and every one of you for your unconditional support since I arrived in Scotland in 2021. In every training session and every match I tried with all my efforts to help this great club, and I hope that I helped create amazing memories for you as your team enjoyed create success together.
“I will never forget the Championships, the Old Firm victories or playing at Celtic Park on Champions League nights, and I wish Celtic only the best as I start a new chapter in my career. From the bottom of my heart, thank you again for your support.”
