Once again the Ladies at Taunton and Pickeridge Golf Club enjoyed good weather for their Tuesday competition which was a four ball better ball Bowmaker in teams of four with two scores to count.

At the end of what was a most enjoyable round of golf it was Judy Powell, Rosie Spragg, Jenny Scobie and Louise Worth with 74 points who were the winners.

The famous T&P Friday Quiz Nights will be returning this spring the first of which is taking place on January 31 starting at 7pm.

Entry to what is always an enjoyable event costs just £2 per person and teams of four are invited to sign up in the bar. Alternatively just turn up on the night and make up your own team.

On January 31 T&P quiz night food specials will be available including two fish dishes and a bottle of wine all for £30. Food will be served between 6 and 7pm and pre booking is essential.

The second T&P quiz night is taking place on Friday 28th February, so make a diary date.
