Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity ramp up preparations for the new Super League season on Boxing Day as they clash in their annual festive fixture.

AMT Headingley will host the clash (11.30ko), as Brad Arthur and Daryl Powell both get a first look at their squads after putting in the graft during the early stages of pre-season.

Both teams will be playing some of their new recruits. Maika Sivo, Ryan Hall, Jake Connor, Keenan Palasia and Cooper Jenkins will all play for Leeds while Josh Rourke, Oliver Russell and Seth Nikotemo will be among those who play for Wakefield.

The fixture always attracts a healthy crowd but the game is also available to watch on Super League+. Injured Leeds fullback Lachie Miller will be in the commentary booth alongside Lewis Smith, with supporters able to purchase the stream for £9.99. Those who don't want to watch the game live can purchase the stream to watch after full-time for £6.49.

Supporters wishing to purchase a stream will need a Super League + account, which can be accessed by clicking here. Once logged in, the stream can be purchased from the 'Live Stream' section. After selecting the fixture from the options, supporters will be redirected to the payment page.

Coverage will start from 11.15 and the game will be streamed in its entirety as the two Super League clubs begin their pre-season campaigns. Leeds are looking to break their play-off drought under Arthur, who is preparing for his first full season in charge. Meanwhile, Wakefield are back in Super League after playing in the Championship last year, winning the league title and the 1895 Cup.
