Leeds United in new £15m striker transfer claim as Tottenham 'interest' re-emerges
Leeds United's promotion battle will take a break this weekend when they host Harrogate Town in the FA Cup on Saturday evening.
Daniel Farke's side have drawn their previous two fixtures but remain a point clear at the top of the Championship table after 26 matches. Leeds have dropped points to Hull and Blackburn in recent weeks and may be looking towards strengthening their squad in January to bolster their promotion push.
The Whites continue to be linked with a number of January transfer targets and LeedsLive has taken a look at the latest news and gossip.

Boro 'open to selling' Leeds United target
According to claims in GiveMeSport, Middlesbrough are open to selling Leeds-linked Latte Lath if their valuation is met. It is reported that Ipswich Town, Leicester City and West Ham United are also keen on the player.
Since his move to Teesside in the summer of 2023 for a fee of around £4million, Lath has been a standout performer, netting 16 goals last season as Boro narrowly missed out on the playoffs. The 26-year-old has continued his fine form this season, contributing to 12 league goals.
It is suggested that Middlesbrough would consider bids in the region of £15m for Latte Lath, who still has two-and-a-half-years remaining on his contract.
Whites 'remain interested' in Spurs defender
Elsewhere, journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that the Whites remain interested in Tottenham defender Ben Davies. It was claimed in last year's January transfer window that Leeds were interested in Davies with it now suggested a potential deal is ‘one to watch in the coming weeks’.
"With Ben Davies, I think that he will also be gone. And the same for Fraser Foster as well. With Davies, the natural thing is to run down the contract," Jacobs said on the Last Word On Spurs podcast.
“Leeds United remain interested. So that could be one to watch in the coming weeks. But I think that with Kinsky arriving, Forster falls down the pecking order.”
