Leeds United already know the perfect transfer answer to Brenden Aaronson worries
It remains to be seen if Leeds United will look to strengthen the No 10 role before the transfer window closes. An injury to USA international Brenden Aaronson would leave them in a precarious position.
Although Aaronson's performances have been up and down, he has directly contributed to nine goals. There is no obvious replacement for Aaronson if he is ruled out for a period of time.
Wilfried Gnonto and Manor Solomon could be deployed in behind the lone striker. The jury is out, though, on whether Gnonto and Solomon would be better off in the attacking midfield role than out wide in the long run.

Aston Villa playmaker Emiliano Buendia was a player of interest to the Whites in the summer. Daniel Farke is a big admirer of Buendia's qualities, having enjoyed a successful period with him at Norwich City. Could United revive their interest in Buendia over the coming weeks?
The Argentinian midfielder has struggled for regular game time during the 2024/25 campaign. He has made 10 Premier League appearances.
Villla beefed up their forward line by signing Donyell Malen from Borussia Dortmund earlier this week, pushing Buendia even further down in the pecking order for a starting spot. When asked about future transfer business, Villa chief Unai Emery said: "We are alert and we want to always be ready to improve the squad with the players and, of course, sometimes some players want to leave us for different circumstances as well.
“If we are changing one player, Malen and Jaden [Philogene], that’s the first. Maybe two or three players more, we can do another deal of some players leaving and some players joining us.”
With opportunities to impress in short supply at Villa Park, a January move for Buendia is not out of the question. The 28-year-old is a gifted footballer but needs regular football to get his career back on track. Buendia would be an asset for any Championship club. Maybe United could be the club to provide Buendia with the stage to express himself and rediscover his best form.
