Leeds United player ratings as Bogle, James and Solomon shine in Norwich City victory
Leeds United defeated Norwich City 2-0 to go back to the top of the Championship on Wednesday evening.
Winger Manor Solomon opened the scoring with just 35 seconds on the clock when he latched onto Daniel James' low delivery. Solomon - who now has two goals in as many matches - returned the favour for James on 65 minutes.
The result means United are undefeated at home in 13 matches and in their last 10 Championship games. Here are the player ratings.

1 - Illan MESLIER
Didn't have much to do. Loud cheers when he caught a simple looping ball. Punched Leeds out of danger in the second half. 7
2 - Jayden BOGLE
His link-up play with Brenden Aaronson for the first goal was top-tier. Played numerous excellent balls, slicing open the centre-back and left-back. Won the ball high up to start attacks at times too - at one stage on the opposite flank, showing it was not due to a poor marker. 9
4 - Ethan AMPADU
Had a wobbly moment early on but always kept position well. Picked the right ball, made the required blocks and took no unnecessary risks. 7
6 - Joe RODON
Loud calls pushing and commanding his teammates throughout, so much so you could hear it from high up in the stands. The 'Welsh wall' is doing just fine in Pascal Struijk's absence so far. 7
25 - Sam BYRAM
Solid as always. Dealt with what was thrown at him and got up the flank when it was right and not risky. Sensible display. 7
8 - Joe ROTHWELL
Refused a shot in the first half and instead passed it to the defender while trying to be too cute. Made some positive balls to try and spark attacks, albeit some were quite loose. Shame he decided to dive in the box after some lovely footwork. Ticked over the play well. 7
22 - Ao TANAKA
Got about well, won most of his duels and produced a pinpoint 35-yard ball for Bogle at the end of the first half out of nothing. However, he undoubtedly should have been earned a second yellow in the second half when he chopped down Emiliano Marcondes. 6
7 - Daniel JAMES
Made many menacing runs down the flank and caused Ben Chrisene a headache all night before his substitution. Finished well from the angle for the second goal. 8
11 - Brenden AARONSON
Pressed well through the first hour, forever hassling Norwich when they played short from the goal kick. Brilliant ball for assist-provider James for the first goal. Again, though, despite starting brightly he lacked end product towards the end of the game and largely got lost towards full-time. 7
14 - Manor SOLOMON
Scored inside a minute by making the right run at the right time. Produced a lovely cross to return the favour to James for the first goal. 8
10 - Joel PIROE
Came back to defend or hold up play when required but will be annoyed with himself for not making more of his chances. Was unlucky not have his header on target late on. 7
SUBS
3 - Junior FIRPO (on 54 mins for Byram)
Showed his value at both ends, stopping a cross and putting in balls to the box - his brave play on the left eventually led to the second goal. 7
17 - Largie RAMAZANI (on 74 mins for Solomon)
Got back to defend well when United needed it, before winning a free-kick. Helped in attack too, seeing a late shot saved. 7
23 - Josuha GUILAVOGUI (on 89 mins for Rothwell)
Came on too late for rating. N/A
29 - Wilfried GNONTO (on 74 mins for James)
Struggled to make a true telling impact, not for want of trying. Kept running. 5
44 - Ilia GRUEV (on 54 mins for Tanaka)
Calmed the midfield and showed intelligence to get away from Norwich players when under pressure near the end. 6
