1 Ilan Meslier
The goalkeeper didn't have much to do against Oxford. The visitors didn't test him but he showed good confidence levels to read danger and beat Owen Dale to the ball. 6
2 Jayden Bogle
A positive outing for the right-back. Joined the attack well alongside James and got into decent positions in the final third. Took his goal very well and defended with little problem. 7
6 Joe Rodon
Strong in defence and calm on the ball. Didn't really have to do much defending against Oxford so his primary job came in helping Rothwell and Tanaka in the build-up play. 6
4 Ethan Ampadu
Had the Elland Road faithful nervous when he struck a hard back pass to Meslier. Communicated like the leader he is and put in a number of timely challenges to maintain the clean sheet. 6
25 Sam Byram
Unlike Bogle down the right, Byram's role in Leeds' team was to be the third man in defence when they attacked. Used his experience at times to organise those in front of him. 6
22 Ao Tanaka
Very close to opening the scoring inside the first minute. Controlled the game with Rothwell in midfield but received some groans from supporters for his backward passing at times. 6
8 Joe Rothwell
After failing to control the game at Preston, Rothwell orchestrated things in the middle of the park. Put in some decent set-piece deliveries and killed a number of Oxford counter-attacks. 6
7 Daniel James
Energetic and positive throughout the afternoon. Got into the box at the right times and his decision-making in the final third was impressive. 7
11 Brenden Aaronson
Worked hard all afternoon and was rewarded with his goal in the second-half. Pressed Oxford's defence well and always offered himself inbetween the lines. 7
14 Manor Solomon
Goal and two assists on his return to the starting XI means it was a good days work for Solomon. Good work rate for Daniel James assist before picking out the perfect pass for Aaronson to make it 3-0. Took his goal well from a tight angle. 8
10 Joel Piroe
Probably the most quiet of the Leeds' forward line but did grab an assist. Didn't stop moving and running but didn't get on the ball, inside the box, as much as he would have liked. And when he did, his shot at Cumming was tame. 6

26 Karl Darlow
5 Pascal Struijk
9 Patrick Bamford
17 Largie Ramazani (on for Aaronson 74 min)
Scuffed a good chance at the back post despite having no defenders near him. Very unfortunate not to score from close distance from header. (N/A)
19 Mateo Joseph (on for Piroe 74 min)
Stayed inside the box in hope of latching on to one of the many crosses that came into the box but was just unfortunate. (N/A)
23 Josuha Guilavogui (on for Rothwell 83 min)
Came on to a good reception and then another shortly after marshalling the ball out of play under pressure. (N/A)
29 Wilfried Gnonto (on for Solomon 74 min)
Teased Oxford's defenders down the left but his crosses were mainly cleared. (N/A)
33 Isaac Schmidt (on for Byram 77 min)
Basically played like a left midfielder with Gnonto venturing forward. (N/A)
