Leeds United predicted team for Millwall FA Cup tie with Daniel Farke to make wholesale changes
Leeds United are very much on the path to glory. Their number one objective this season is securing promotion back to the Premier League.
And with 15 matches remaining, the Whites are riding high at the top of the Championship. Wednesday's 2-0 triumph at Coventry City moved them five points clear at the top of the table. Things are nicely falling into place for Daniel Farke's side going into the business end of the campaign.
But Farke intends to field a much-changed starting XI when they welcome Millwall to Elland Road in the FA Cup fourth round tomorrow lunchtime, kick-off 12:15pm. The tie gives Farke with the perfect opportunity to rotate his squad and give game time to some of his fringe players. With a loom midweek trip to Watford fast approaching, Farke is likely to rest a number of first teamers and keep them fresh for that tricky assignment.

Karl Darlow looks a shoo-in to replace Illan Meslier in between the sticks. There is also a distinct possibility that Farke could select a brand new back four, with Sam Byram, Isaac Schmidt, Pascal Struijk and Max Wober all waiting in the wings for a chance to stake a claim. Struijk has gently been eased back into action after shrugging off his hamstring problem.
Farke has got plenty of options in the middle of the park. It might be that captain Ethan Ampadu moves from centre-half into midfield to partner Josuha Guilavogui, with Joe Rothwell deployed in the No 10 position. Wilfried Gnonto and Largie Ramazani look set to start on the flanks.
Top-scorer Joel Piroe is expected to make way for Spanish Under-21 international Mateo Joseph up front.
Predicted United XI for Millwall (4-2-3-1): Darlow; Schmidt, Struijk, Wober, Byram; Guilavogui, Ampadu; Gnonto, Rothwell, Ramazani; Joseph.
