Leeds United squad revealed for Hull City as Daniel Farke faces major defensive dilemma
Daniel Farke loves a derby. His Leeds United team are unbeaten in each of their last 16 Yorkshire derbies in the league (W12 D4) with the Whites winning more points in such fixtures since the beginning of last season in the English Football than any of their Yorkshire rivals (25).
The Championship leaders travel to relegation-haunted Hull City today knowing a point would be enough to see them stay at the summit. United will be strong favourites to claim the local bragging rights and take another step towards securing a Premier League return. Not that Farke is taking anything for granted after an "exhausting" festive period.
"You always have to be switched on to prepare for the next opponent," said Farke. "It always helps when you have pretty good results like we have done in the last weeks. The mood is good and you see the progress.

"Once you're top of the league, it's always an enjoyable situation but there's still lots of work and you have to be pretty switched on.
"It's a busy, tough period in terms of workload but I'm used to it. I know December and January are tough months in the Championship."
Farke seemed optimistic after the New Year's Day draw with Blackburn Rovers that full-backs Sam Byram (illness) and Jayden Bogle (dead leg) would be passed fit to be involved. Max Wober is on stand-by to fill in at left-back if Bryam is not risked.
The trip to the MKM Stadium comes too soon for Junior Firpo. Midfielder Ilia Gruev (knee) is a long-term absentee.
