Leeds United's players have hopefully woken from their Turkey-induced sleep and are ready to tackle a big day in the Championship. It's Boxing Day, arguably football's greatest day as fans across the country head out to share in the festivities and hopefully watch their team pick up three points.

For Leeds United a trip to Stoke City awaits and a chance to stay within touching distance in the title race while potentially strengthening their hand in the promotion fight at the same time. Three wins from the last four games in an unbeaten run has put Daniel Farke's men in a strong position as we approach the end of the year and they'll start as favourites today against a Stoke team who can't buy a win right now.

Leeds go into the game in good shape and while there is a doubt over the fitness of Joe Rodon after he was seen stretching out a tight muscle at the weekend after the win over Oxford United, he is expected to be fit to play. Speaking ahead of this game Farke said; "I'm carefully optimistic all the players who are involved (against Oxford) are also capable to travel with us and perform with us on Boxing Day, so it looks quite good.”

Today's clash may come too soon for Max Wober (knee). Junior Firpo and Ilia Gruev are definitely out with hamstring and knee injuries respectively.

Leeds United squad vs Oxford United: Meslier, Darlow, Cairns, Bogle, Struijk, Rodon, Struijk, Debayo, Schmidt, James, Gnonto, Ampadu, Rothwell, Tanaka, Guilavogui, Crew, Solomon, Ramazani, Aaronson, Piroe, Joseph, Bamford, Gelhardt.
