Brenden Aaronson and Manor Solomon both start for Leeds United in tonight's clash with Norwich City despite being doubts for the match.

Solomon had picked up a slight hamstring issue during Sunday's 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday and underwent a scan on Monday. Meanwhile, Daniel Farke was more optimistic about Aaronson's inclusion, despite him sustaining an ankle knock at the weekend.

The American has passed late fitness tests and begins his 26th straight Championship match while Solomon's scan results clearly came back positive. Farke has made no changes from the line-up that began the game on Sunday.

It means Largie Ramazani has been not selected to start despite netting two goals and an assist his last two outings. He is named on the bench.

Daniel James meanwhile starts on the opposite right flank, with one more goal contribution - either a goal or assist - taking his tally for the season to 10. The Welshman has registered just one goal and no assists in his last five outings across all competitions.

Illan Meslier has started every Championship match this season and continues that streak tonight with Jayden Bogle, Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon retaining their places in defence from Sunday. Pascal Struijk remains absent and Farke will deliver an update on his recovery timeline later this week.

Sam Byram also retains is place at left-back having been a reliable asset while filling in on his unnatural flank. The last time the 31-year-old started at right-back was in early December, some nine appearances ago.

Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell were very productive against Wednesday and have been given the nod again tonight to support Aaronson at number 10.

Joe Piroe endured a frustrating afternoon at the weekend with few touches to speak of but he will be spying the chance to build on his 10 goals against the Canaries this evening. He begins his 29th game of the season.

Starting XI: Meslier; Bogle, Ampadu, Rodon, Byram; Rothwell, Tanaka; James, Aaronson, Solomon; Piroe.

Subs: Darlow, Schmidt, Firpo, Wober, Gruev, Guilavogui, Ramazani, Gnonto, Joseph.
