Daniel Farke has made two changes to his Leeds United team for this afternoon's Championship tie with Oxford United at Elland Road.

The Whites could go into Christmas day as league leaders if they win today and Sheffield United lose at Cardiff City. Leeds are three unbeaten in December after winning two and drawing one since the defeat at Blackburn Rovers.

An injury-time equaliser at Preston North End rescued a point for Farke's men last time out meaning it is only one defeat in their previous seven games.

Ahead of today's game with Oxford, whose new boss Gary Rowett will be in attendance at Elland Road, Farke has decided to bring in Ethan Ampadu and Manor Solomon to the starting line-up.

Ampadu returns to the Leeds defence alongside Joe Rodon in place of Pascal Struijk. There is also a return to the side for Solomon, who replaces Wilfried Gnonto.

Jayden Bogle and Sam Byram start at full-back with Ao Tanaka partnering Joe Rothwell in midfield. Dan James retains his spot on the wing with Brenden Aaronson starting in the number 10 role.

Karl Darlow, Patrick Bamford, Largie Ramazani, Mateo Joseph, Josuha Guilavogui, Isaac Schmidt and Sam Chambers make up the bench for Leeds.
