1 Ilan Meslier

The goalkeeper had very little to do. Helped Leeds get up the pitch with the right selection of long balls and short passes. Couldn't have done much for the goal but he will be furious with how it went in. 6

2 Jayden Bogle

Failed to hurt Blackburn with his overlapping runs like previous games but solid defensively. Forced off early in the second half but managed to walk off the pitch. 6

6 Joe Rodon

Strong in his challenges but was quite slow on the ball when Leeds built-up. Often killed any hope for Blackburn on the counter-attack with smart reading of the danger. 6

5 Pascal Struijk

Worked well with Rodon in nullifying Blackburn whenever they attempted to go forward. Stayed calm and composed with the penalty and tried all he could do to get a winner. 7

25 Sam Byram

OK on the ball but struggled to make an impact at left-back when Leeds attacked. Was on the receiving end of a clash with Meslier and Andreas Weimann which could have been the reason he didn't come out for the second half. 6

22 Ao Tanaka

Stayed in the middle of the pitch throughout looking to unlock Blackburn's defence but was too massive in his play at times. Kept running until the last minute but couldn't help find the winning goal. 6

8 Joe Rothwell

Brilliant with his passing but seemed to be unsure on whether to play forward or come back. Linked the play up well against a very solid Blackburn defensive block. 6

7 Daniel James

Like the majority of Leeds' attackers, James struggled to hurt Blackburn. He grew into the game and linked up with Wilfried Gnonto well down the right but Leonard had his number. 6

11 Brenden Aaronson

Caught on the ball too many times and too slow in picking the pass out. Missed a big chance then got booked for a foolish push on Amario Cozier-Duberry. 5

14 Manor Solomon

Far from his best and grew frustrated with himself as the contest went on. Beat his man a couple of times but constantly came back rather than attempting to hurt Blackburn. 6

10 Joel Piroe

Almost non-existent in the time he was on the pitch and came too deep at times. Came off after the hour mark having made little impact. 5

Substitutes

26 Karl Darlow

4 Ethan Ampadu (on for Bogle 50 min)

Created a back three when Leeds were in possession and Wober went forward. Marshalled the defensive line well to stop Blackburn but was furious with the equaliser. 6

9 Patrick Bamford (on for Solomon 69 min)

Stayed inside the box, looking to latch on to any loose balls but was frustrated with Blackburn's defence. Gave a number of fouls away that lifted the pressure. 5

17 Largie Ramazani

19 Mateo Joseph (on for Piroe 69 min)

Didn't really do much on the ball but won the penalty with great instinct to run on to Bamford's flick on inside the box. 6

23 Josuha Guilavogui

29 Wilfried Gnonto (on for Rothwell 69 min)

Tricky on the ball and wanted to make something happen every single time he had the chance. Leeds looked much better with him on the pitch.

33 Isaac Schmidt

39 Max Wober (on for Byram 45 min)

Got forward loads and defended superbly against the counter. Had two decent chances to win it at the end but was denied both times. 6
