Leeds United's FA Cup dream gets a surprise boost as fourth-round draw made
Leeds United and the FA Cup have not been the best of bedfellows this century. Cup runs have been few and far between, with just getting to the fourth round stage something of an achievement at times.
There is a hope, along with a push for promotion to the Premier League, that this season can also bring some FA Cup cheer and a potential run deep into the competition. If that is to be the case then Daniel Farke's men .have been handed an advantage to do just that.
Usually drawn away from home, Leeds have a second successive home draw this season after being paired with Millwall or Dagenham and Redbridge in the fourth round. The game could well see Leeds up against familiar opposition in fellow Championship side Millwall. It's not the sort of tie to get fans excited, but does provide an opportunity to progress.

Leeds reached round four after beating Harrogate Town 1-0 at Elland Road on Saturday and return to league action next weekend when hosting Sheffield Wednesday.
The fourth round tie will be played on the weekend of February 8, a date that should have seen the Whites in Championship action against Frank Lampard's Coventry City, who have also progressed in the Cup and will come up against Ipswich Town and Kalvin Phillips, who was on the scoresheet today to help the Premier League club progress to the next round in a 3-0 victory.
