Ruud van Nistelrooy's Leicester City will face Manchester United, the current holders of the FA Cup at Old Trafford in the fourth round.

The Red Devils, who triumphed over Manchester City in last season's final, earned a home tie after a penalty shootout victory against Arsenal in the third round.

Van Nistelrooy, a former winner of the competition in 2004 and interim manager for United until Ruben Amorim took over in November, led the Foxes to a 6-2 win over QPR on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Premier League leaders Liverpool will journey to Championship strugglers Plymouth, who surprised Brentford on Saturday, while Pep Guardiola's City are set to travel to either Leyton Orient or Derby.

Three all-Premier League clashes include Chelsea's trip to Brighton, Aston Villa hosting Tottenham, and Everton facing Bournemouth. Exeter, reaching the fourth round for the first time since 1981, have a challenging home tie against Nottingham Forest, while Newcastle will play away at League One leaders Birmingham.

Championship frontrunners Leeds will host either Millwall or Dagenham at Elland Road, and Frank Lampard's Coventry, semi-finalists last season, will take on top-tier Ipswich. Premier League teams Wolves, Crystal Palace and Fulham have away ties at Blackburn, Mansfield or Wigan and Doncaster respectively, while League One promotion contenders Wycombe will face either Preston or Charlton away.

Burnley have been paired with Premier League strugglers Southampton, who comfortably defeated Swansea on Sunday evening. Meanwhile, Stoke will host Cardiff in an all-Championship clash.
