Leicester City's owners have taken an Italian helicopter manufacturer to court in a lawsuit totalling more than £2bn following the crash which killed Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha at the King Power Stadium in 2018, after a game with West Ham United.

Multinational company Leonardo S.p.A., whose headquarters are in Rome, are being taken to High Court following the crash of the AgustaWestland AW169, which claimed the life of Khun Vichai and all others on board, including three fellow passenegers and the pilot. The aircraft was due to fly to Luton airport but came down shortly after leaving the stadium's pitch.

Reports claim that the Srivaddhanaprabha family are now taking Leonardo to High Court, in a case of which the claim is around £2.15bn.
