Leicester City slap €20m price tag on defender after transfer enquiry
Galatasaray have enquired about the availability of Leicester City defender Wout Faes, according to a report in Turkey.
Outlet PlaySpor claim the Foxes informed the Super Lig outfit they want €20m for the centre-back, with the Turkish transfer window open until February 11.
That means Galatasary still have time to make an offer for Faes but City would not be able to replace him until the summer.

The Belgian is under contract until June 2027 and this is not the first time he has been the subject of speculation, with just last month a report by Sky Sports France suggesting City had reached an agreement to sell the Belgian ‘in the event of an interesting offer’.
At the time he was linked with a summer move, with clubs in Germany and Italy credited with an interest. Lazio were specifically named. However, what’s changed since that story was the fact Leicester were not charged with breaching Profitability & Sustainability Rules meaning they can now do their calculations for the summer window.
Faes has been a regular started under Ruud van Nistelrooy in recent weeks, although City’s defensive form hardly makes him indispensable. However, City will not want to lose a player without being able to replace him, making any potential deal in the coming days highly unlikely.
As things stand the Foxes have Faes, Jannik Vestergaard, Conor Coady and Caleb Okoli as options in the heart of their defence. Both Okoli and Coady were linked with moves away from the King Power in recent weeks.
