Leicester City team news v Fulham with one change made and Woyo Coulibaly missing
Facundo Buonanotte has been dropped in the only change to the Leicester City line-up with new signing Woyo Coulibaly missing from the matchday squad.
Buonanotte falls to the bench against Fulham with Jordan Ayew coming in on the right side of the attack. It’s been a contentious position since Ruud van Nistelrooy took charge, and it’s the Ghanaian who gets the nod on Saturday.
Otherwise, it’s an unchanged 11. That means Wout Faes keeps his place in the back-line, next to Jannik Vestergaard, with Conor Coady on the bench again.

At full-back, James Justin and Victor Kristiansen start once more, with Luke Thomas among the substitutes. Coulibaly, whose arrival was confirmed on Wednesday night, did not train with the squad on Thursday as the club sorted out the last of the paperwork, and he’s not on the bench either, with his potential debut delayed until next weekend’s game at Tottenham.
Harry Winks and Boubakary Soumare start in midfield, with Stephy Mavididi and Bilal El Khannouss joining Ayew in supporting Vardy. The number nine starts again, having failed to score from any of his last 18 shots in the Premier League.
On the bench, Caleb Okoli is included while Hamza Choudhury drops out. The midfielder has been linked with a switch to Sheffield United. Bobby De Cordova-Reid is also among the substitutes against the side he left to join City.
City (4-2-3-1): Stolarczyk; Justin, Faes, Vestergaard, Kristiansen; Winks, Soumare; Ayew, El Khannouss, Mavididi; Vardy. Subs: Iversen, Thomas, Coady, Okoli, Skipp, McAteer, De Cordova-Reid, Buonanotte, Daka.
