Lennon Miller has handed Motherwell a major boost by returning to full training ahead of Saturday's match against Ross County.

The Scotland Under-21 starlet hasn't played since suffering an ankle fracture in the 2-2 draw with Rangers on December 29. However, the 18-year-old is making a faster recovery than expected and, along with Jair Tavares, has resumed full contact training, reports the Daily Record. Miller's absence from the midfield has been keenly felt by Well, who have lost their last four games and only won one out of seven matches since his injury.

Stuart Kettlewell resigned as manager two weeks ago, but Miller's progress will be a significant positive for interim boss Stephen Frail, even if this weekend's game against the Staggies may come too soon. Miller was the subject of two substantial offers from Udinese in the January transfer window, while Belgian team Royale Union Saint-Gilloise also reportedly failed to tempt the Steelmen with a record-breaking bid.

With 18 months remaining on his contract, Miller is expected to attract more offers in the summer, with Motherwell reportedly valuing the teenager at £4.5million. Before then, the Fir Park club will be hoping he can help improve their form and propel them back towards the top five.
