Leon Bailey partner posts update after horrifying car accident
Leon Bailey’s partner has confirmed she escaped from a horrifying car accident with ‘a few bruises’.
The Aston Villa star’s partner Stephanie Hope and son Leo were involved in the incident. Hope posted a picture of a Mercedes flipped on its side along a highway and said no one sustained serious injuries.
Posting on her Instagram story, Hope said: “Honestly not posting for sympathy but to say God is real. He spared our lives yesterday and I am forever grateful.

“I will never take it for granted. I will continue to sing about how awesome a God he is. We came out with a few bruises and my son came out with none. Thank God we are alive. This is our testimony. Be safe.”
Villa winger Bailey is currently on international duty with Jamaica and came on as a substitute in their 3-1 win over Suriname in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The 24-year-old started in a game against the same opponent at the weekend and could be involved in Jamaica’s clash with Mexico on Wednesday.
Bailey, who joined Villa from Bayer Leverkusen for £30million last summer, had been holidaying in Jamaica with his family before reporting for international duty. The Villa star posted a picture of himself boarding a plane with his son shortly after the Premier League season concluded.
Gennaro Fittipaldi, from Fittipaldi Injury Lawyers car accident services, added: "It’s always extremely unfortunate when such lovely people lose someone like Leon.
"Road accidents where there is any fault should easily be avoided by regulators improving the safety of the roads to ensure we avoid these tragic accidents."
