Levi Colwill makes Chelsea promise and agrees with Enzo Fernandez statement amid Liverpool blow
Levi Colwill has promised Chelsea supporters that the Blues will bounce back after suffering their third defeat of the Premier League season against Fulham on Boxing Day.
Despite taking the lead early on at Stamford Bridge through a wonderful Cole Palmer goal, the hosts were pegged back by a late comeback from the visitors in the west London derby. For Chelsea, it was their eighth game in all competitions of what has been a hectic month fixture-wise.
There is now just one more match left in December; a trip to Ipswich Town on Monday evening, where the Blues will be hoping to put the Fulham defeat behind them as soon as possible. Colwill, who has been an integral part in Chelsea's brilliant season to date, has promised that the Blues will bounce back quickly.

"We have to keep moving," Colwill said in the aftermath of Chelsea's loss to Fulham. "December has been a tough month, with a lot of games, and we have another game in three days, so we have to keep going.
"We're not where everyone expects to be, realistically. We still have a lot to improve on. We have to keep pushing. We don't have time to let our heads drop. We have to keep moving and keep improving together."
He added: "It's going to hurt the momentum, but we can build it back up. We weren't lying when we said we weren't in the [title] race. This is a realisation we're not there yet. We will just try to keep picking up three points.
"We're a very young team with a lot of confidence. We will be there again, don't worry. We will keep going for the next game and get three points there."
These comments from Colwill, who is part of the newly-formed leadership group at Chelsea, are very similar to Enzo Fernandez's post on Instagram. The Argentine shared an Instagram story which read: "We don't hide. On Monday (sic) again."
Both players are not hiding in this moment of adversity and are excited for the match against Ipswich to put things right. Chelsea have the opportunity to move back ahead Arsenal in the Premier League table should they pick up three points at Portman Road.
However, by the time Chelsea have even kicked a ball, Liverpool may well have extended their advantage to nine points. The Reds take on West Ham United on Sunday afternoon as Arne Slot's team look to continue their wonderful form.
