Leyton Orient v Derby County FA Cup tie postponed and instantly rescheduled
Derby County’s third round FA Cup tie at Leyton Orient has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Plummeting temperatures prompted concern over the Brisbane Road surface and following an inspection by the match referee, the game has been called off. The game has swiftly been rescheduled for Tuesday night.
The game was due to kick off at 6pm but with the cold snap affecting large parts of the country, there was a due consideration for travelling fans.

Last night, Orient's chief executive Mark Devlin responded to concerns over the pitch when responding to a fan on Twitter, now known as X.
"We are already in contact with the referee," he said. "The pitch is covered and is fine today. Obviously, we will see what the overnight conditions bring us and will stay in contact with the Ref."
