Lisandro Martinez's two-word Man United message speaks volumes after crucial Europa League win
Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has opened up on the team spirit in the camp ahead of this Sunday's Manchester derby following a 2-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen.
After a lacklustre first half where United kept possession well but didn't fashion any openings, they would suffer a rude awakening at the start of the second 45 minutes. After a loose pass from Andre Onana, Matej Vydra was presented with an easy opportunity to give the hosts the lead.
This would spark United into life and they were level when Amad's brilliant run and strike was deflected into Rasmus Hojlund's path for a tap-in. The Reds continued to attempt to force an opening and would finally break their host's resolve with less than three minutes of normal time remaining.

A quick free kick from Bruno Fernandes caught Plzen unaware and allowed Hojlund to capitalise, firing home the winner which lifted United into the top eight in the Europa League. After the match, plenty of talk surrounded how long it will take for this team to adapt to Ruben Amorim's philosophy and considering the squad has often been accused of being fragmented when things go bad, Martinez was quick to dispell that assumption on social media.
Taking to his Instagram story at full-time, he wrote: "Three important points!! Together always!!"
The story included a photo showing Onana prominently suggesting that Martinez and his teammates did not wish to dwell on any personal errors from the victory in Czechia. Next up for the Reds is the big one as they travel across the city to face Manchester City in the Premier League.
Victory for United could move them back towards a congested top half of the table and mount further pressure on City.
