Liverpool make 10 changes for Merseyside derby as starting line-up named
Luis Diaz keeps his Liverpool place as Arne Slot makes 10 changes for the Merseyside derby with Everton. A much-changed Reds side were knocked out of the FA Cup by Plymouth Argyle at the fourth-round stage on Sunday afternoon and Slot has made significant alterations to that lineup as expected, with just Diaz retaining his spot.
The Colombia international leads the line with Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo either side in the front three. Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota are on the bench while Federico Chiesa misses out after a subpar showing at Home Park on Sunday.
As anticipated, Slot recalls Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to his midfield three with Curtis Jones on the bench after remaining an unused substitute at Plymouth after revealing late on to Slot he did not feel 100% fit.

Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson all start as Alisson Becker returns in goal.
