Liverpool has $11m incentive to allow Luis Díaz transfer this summer amid Barcelona interest
Liverpool can save itself forking out more money for Luis Díaz, if the Colombian leaves Anfield this summer. Diaz has emerged as a target for Barcelona amid uncertainty over his Liverpool future.
It was reported by The Telegraph that Díaz could be sold this summer, having not yet been offered a new contract by Liverpool. The 27-year-old remains on the same terms he signed when he joined from Porto
A decision on his future is likely to be made this summer and that has put Barcelona on alert, while Paris Saint-Germain is also said to be keen as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappé.

Liverpool forked out $47m (£37m/€43m) for the winger in January 2022 and have had to pay more more to Porto since then due to clauses inserted in the deal. It emerged this week that the Reds had also activated another clause after qualifying for next season's Champions League.
And Portuguese outlet O Jogo claims Liverpool may soon have to fork out a further $11.4m (£9m/€10.5m) to Porto. It is stated that payments are due when Díaz makes 100 and 125 appearances for the club. He is set to make his 98th outing against Wolves on the final day of the campaign.
It means that those payments will be inevitable, should the Colombian international remain at Anfield during the summer transfer window. Mundo Deportivo reported earlier this week that Barca has made Díaz a top target, despite its well-known financial issues.
Liverpool is likely to demand close to $95m (£75m/€88m) before considering a transfer but the La Liga giants is willing to let several members of its current squad depart, in order to fund a bid. It is claimed that Díaz is keen on a move to the Nou Camp.
The Reds are already being tipped to make additions in the transfer window. The Athletic reports that a wide attacker is a priority for new sporting director Richard Hughes ahead of the summer.
Liverpool.com says: A decision will have to be made over Díaz's future this summer. It looks as though there will be interest and Liverpool could well look to seek an upgrade. Porto is in line for further payments if he stays put and that may ultimately dictate his future, with finances likely to be tight due to FFP rules.
