What Liverpool dressing room did before West Ham as Mohamed Salah responds to furious exchange
Mohamed Salah admits his Liverpool team-mates were joking with him about his touchline bust-up with Jurgen Klopp before he starred in the Reds' 5-0 victory at West Ham United on Sunday. Arne Slot's side stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points with a clinical display at the London Stadium.
And Salah was central to that performance, scoring and setting up two goals as Liverpool underlined their title credentials at the same stadium where their challenge ultimately faltered last season.
Jurgen Klopp's side were held to a 2-2 draw and Salah, who started from the bench, was involved in a furious exchange with his manager as he entered the field.

It was a complete contrast to Liverpool's victory this time out and Salah admitted it was a much better moment for him.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "The players before the game in the dressing room told me, ‘Oh, remember what happened here last year?’ And the guys were laughing. Virgil [van Dijk] started it! We had a bit of a laugh about that.
"We had not a nice memory here last year but I’m glad this one we had a better one.
"I’m just trying to enjoy the game. To be fair, I was disappointed with a few chances I missed today, but at the end of the day I came here for the result. I want the team to win, I want to do something in the game and I’m glad I did.
"But I’m always hungry for more, hopefully in the next one I will score more. But the most important thing, again, is the team won the game."
Salah added: "The only thing in my mind, to be fair, is I want Liverpool to win the league and I just want to be part of that. That’s the only thing I’ve really focused [on] since the beginning of the season.
"I will do my best for the team to win trophies. We are in the right direction but of course there are a few other teams really trying to catch up with us and they are very good teams. We just need to stay focused and humble, work hard and just go again."
