Two major Liverpool players are being linked with surprise summer moves away from Anfield, while the Reds supposedly have a 'full agreement' for some backroom team additions despite Arne Slot not having been announced just yet. Here's your round-up of the latest Liverpool news.

Two key Liverpool players could move on this summer

Liverpool forward Luis Díaz could be sold this summer, according to the ECHO, while Anfield Watch has claimed that Joe Gomez is also considering his future. It could be an interesting summer with Jürgen Klopp departing.

There have been 'whispers' around the AXA Training Centre that Díaz could move on, the report states. Amid interest from Barcelona and PSG (reported in The Telegraph last month), the speculation is swirling around.

Díaz would be difficult to replace but he has only scored 13 times for Liverpool this season. The Colombian has been a consistent performer but not a consistent goalscorer. He is 27 now and has two years left on his contract.

Gomez, meanwhile, has played a lot more this year than he has in previous campaigns. The England international has mainly been used at full-back this season but has proven to be a really important cog in the squad.

Liverpool has 'full agreement' for backroom additions

As well as Arne Slot coming to Anfield this summer, there will also be a number of other appointments. Jürgen Klopp isn't the only one who will need replacing, with many of his coaching team also moving on.

Earlier in the week, goalkeeping coach John Achterberg announced that he would be leaving. Pep Lijnders and Vitor Matos are also set to move on having been added to the staff at Liverpool over the last few years.

According to Football Insider, 'full agreement has been reached' for Feyenoord assistant manager Sipke Hulshoff, head of performance Rúben Peeters and analyst Etienne Reijnen to join Slot on Merseyside. There could be more additions to the backroom team as well, but they are the three key members of staff that Slot had been expected to bring with him.

Liverpool hasn't yet officially announced Slot as Klopp's replacement but is expected to in due course. Hulshoff also works for the Netherlands national team, which has qualified for the summer's European Championship. It remains to be seen what impact that commitment might have on if or when he might move to Liverpool.
