Liverpool fans make decision on Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah contracts
Liverpool fans have given their definitive verdict on the biggest priority for Anfield bosses as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk officially become free to sign pre-contract agreements elsewhere.
As soon as the clock struck midnight this morning and we rang in the new year, Liverpool's three most valuable players officially became free to sign contracts to join new clubs and leave Merseyside for nothing, a daunting prospect Fenway Sports Group is desperate to avoid.
Currently, there's no indication any of the three are too close, but offers are believed to have been extended to each of them. Reds fans are terrified of the prospect of any of the three leaving for free, and are still hoping agreements will be reached to keep the spine of Arne Slot's team together next season.

As we enter the final six months of the trio's contracts, we at Liverpool.com asked you, our readers, to vote for who you would keep if you could only keep one player - and it's fair to say the results were eye-opening.
It may come as little surprise that the results had Salah winning by an absolute landslide, such is the Egyptian King's popularity with Reds fans. At the time of writing, Tuesday December 31, Salah has a staggering 1,384 votes, which is quite something when compared to his teammates.
Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool boy whose dreams came true, received just 298 votes by comparison, as fans start to grow tired of the will he or won't he saga with Real Madrid.
The right-back seems destined for Los Blancos, but his celebration during Sunday's thrashing of West Ham proved it's not a done deal just yet.
Van Dijk, the man mountain at the back who transformed Liverpool from contenders back in 2018 when he joined to become champions of England, Europe and the world, has received 357 votes.
That suggests he's more popular than Alexander-Arnold, but it's clear to see neither is valued as highly as Salah, who has scored a staggering 20 goals with 17 assists across just 26 games in all competitions this season.
