Liverpool fans show new Trent Alexander-Arnold banner on Kop in strong contract message
Liverpool fans have issued a stern message over the ongoing contract situation.
Supporters sat on the Kop have unveiled a new banner urging the board to sort out the contracts for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk during the Premier League game against Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.
The trio are all in the final six months of their current deals and there has currently been no breakthrough in talks despite rumours of agreements being offered to all three. Salah, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold are all eligible to sign pre-contract agreements with other clubs during the January transfer window.

The banner features images of all three players alongside the words: "FSG give Mo and Co their Do." On the pitch, things could not be going better for Liverpool. However off it, there is plenty of drama.
Ahead of the United game, Salah's comments made headlines "There is no progress," Salah told Sky Sports on his expiring contract. "We are far away from any progress so we just need to wait and see."
Elsewhere, Alexander-Arnold's situation has probably been the most talked about in recent days. While it is possible that Alexander-Arnold could sign a new deal and remain put, Real Madrid would like to sign him six months ahead of his contract expiring. Carlo Ancelotti is said to be a big fan of the Liverpool vice-captain and his right-back, Dani Carvajal, has a long-term injury and will be unavailable until the end of 2025.
Liverpool recently rejected an approach from the La Liga champions for the 26-year-old before tabling a whopping £78 million ($96.9 million) five-year contract just a few days later in a bid to keep the right-back at Anfield.
The Spanish team has reportedly offered the 26-year-old a similar £300,000 per week deal (around $19.4 million per year), with the added incentive of a substantial signing-on fee if he joins as a free agent in the summer.
Van Dijk's situation has been the quietest of the three. Since the summer there has been little to no update on the Dutchman's deal however him and Salah have both been tipped to sign the same deal and are expected to stay on Merseyside. While Alexander-Arnold has a big decision to make on his future.
