Liverpool will be without two first-team players for their Premier League match against Nottingham Forest. However, everyone appears to have come through the FA Cup third-round tie against Accrington Stanley unscathed.

Alisson, Cody Gakpo, Ibrahima Konate, Ryan Gravenberch and Virgil van Dijk were all given the weekend off. Arne Slot, meanwhile, did not need to call on Andy Robertson, Alexis Mac Allister and Luis Diaz from the substitutes bench at Anfield as the Reds ran out 4-0 victors.

The only absentee was Joe Gomez, who has missed the last three matches with a hamstring injury. Slot has confirmed the player is "quite far" from being available and has yet to resume training with the team since sustaining the setback.

Gomez appears unlikely to play again this month, with the game away to Bournemouth on 1 February a potential return date. However, he is the only long-term absentee.

The other is Darwin Nunez, who missed the midweek match while serving a one-match suspension after receiving his fifth yellow card of the Premier League season against Manchester United. Had the striker avoided a booking after coming on as a second-half substitute, he would have passed the threshold for a ban and been free to collect ten cards before being banned.

Below is the entire Liverpool squad expected to be available to Arne Slot for the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest, barring any late injury or fitness concerns.

Goalkeepers: Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher, Viteslav Jaros.

Defenders: Andy Robertson, Connor Bradley, Ibrahima Konate, Jarell Quansah, Kostas Tsimikas, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk

Midfielders: Alexis Mac Allister, Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai, Harvey Elliott, James McConnell, Ryan Gravenberch, Trey Nyoni, Tyler Morton, Wataru Endo

Forwards: Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, Federico Chiesa, Jayden Danns, Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah, Rio Ngumoha
