Saudi Pro League leaders Al Hilal are reportedly ready to offer Liverpool star Mohamed Salah a contract. The Reds face a battle to keep the Egyptian as his current deal enters its final six months.

The 32-year-old has been open about the situation unfolding at Anfield in recent weeks as chiefs at Anfield continue crunch talks to avoid losing the record-breaker. Saudi Arabian interest has been prevalent in the last 18 months with Salah's contract ticking down and a report from Sky Sports suggests the reigning champions could offer a lucrative offer to see him exit the Premier League leaders.

It has been suggested that the Egypt icon could be a replacement for Neymar, who too is facing an uncertain future following a long-term knee injury. Speculation surrounding Salah intensifed in the Middle East after a powerful figure within Saudi Arabia's sport, Turki Alalshikh, who posted a mock-up of the forward in an Al Hilal strip.

A player who has been linked as a successor to Salah's right-wing starting berth is Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo. The 25-year-old has been under-the-radar in England's top-flight and with the Bees struggles, it has been suggested that the attacker could leave West London.

Arsenal have been suggested as a possible destination in their hunt for attacking reinforcements, similarly with Newcastle United. And Liverpool are no different.

However, Thomas Frank has categorically denied the opportunity that the 13-goal forward could leave in January. With the visit of Liverpool this weekend, the Dane shut down any possibility of an exit.

"No. So, very easy to answer that question," the Brentford boss said.
