Liverpool defender Conor Bradley is back in training again after missing four matches with the ankle knock that forced him off against Crystal Palace at Anfield. It was thought at the time that he would play again this season and he now should have the chance.

The Reds will play Spurs at Anfield this weekend before ending the Jürgen Klopp era with fixtures against Aston Villa (away) and Wolves (home). Klopp will issue a full update during his press conference early on Friday (9.45am BST) but Bradley could now be in contention to make a return to the team, according to This Is Anfield.

Bradley has made 22 appearances for Liverpool so far this season, stepping up when Trent Alexander-Arnold was injured and out of the side. He is unlikely to start much now the number 66 is back, however.

Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcântara, Joël Matip and Ben Doak are all sidelined at the moment. Meanwhile, Bobby Clark announced earlier in the week that his season was over because of an injury. He has been playing with the U21s lately.

Liverpool has been ravaged by problems all over the pitch this season and that is something that the Reds will hope can improve when Arne Slot arrives as the club's new manager. Some better fortunes in the medical department would go a long way to helping Liverpool improve again under the helm of the Dutchman.

Liverpool.com says: It will be really interesting to see what Slot wants to do in the right-back area. Bradley has been so good this season that there is a genuine conversation to be had about moving Alexander-Arnold into midfield. While it is something that Klopp has avoided in the main, it is possible that his successor might want to give it a go.

That would mean sacrificing someone else in the center, though, meaning Dominik Szoboszlai or Curtis Jones might have to step out of the starting XI in order to bring Bradley in. The fact there is a debate to be had says plenty about the progression that the 20-year-old has made, and it can be no bad thing to have the options there to be considered.

With the remaining matches now little more than a formality, albeit also a great opportunity to celebrate Klopp's tenure, perhaps Bradley's chances of a final run-out or two are a little higher. Either way, he'll have earned the applause of Anfield on the final-day lap of honor.
