Liverpool must speed up transfer plan after missing big opportunity
It was two points dropped by Liverpool on Sunday, make no mistake. But we didn't deserve to win the game. A draw was a true reflection of what we saw.
United played the best they've played in a long time. We just played, we didn't hit the notes as well as we could but we know that. We did enough to win the game but when you come back from 1-0 down to be 2-1 ahead, you've got to see it out.
And we didn't, which is really disappointing to be fair. We let them back into the game when we should have seen it out.

It's a missed opportunity, big time. This is not the Man United of Ferguson's era. This is a Man United team that is below average. And they have been below average at best.
So you've got to capitalise on them. We didn't. Sloppy, sloppy play, sloppy defending. We have been brilliant and I don't want to knock it.
It's just lately, we've conceded three goals at both Tottenham and Newcastle, two goals at United and Fulham at home.
And really, I might be clutching at straws a little bit, top teams and we shouldn't be conceding that many goals, especially the four at home - six away - even though we've done well in the games, we've come out of the games alright, and better away than at home.
But you've got to be clinical to go on and win the league and we've got to learn from our mistakes. We've got to start defending better. We've slipped, especially in December, we've slipped defensively. We haven't been at our best. Even Southampton gave us problems.
At least we've not lost anything in terms of our lead at the top of the table. But the other two teams, Arsenal and Chelsea had harder games than what we had.
We had a home game against a team that was there for the beating, and we didn't do it. So you can look at it both ways. That is what it is.
You've got to give United credit. They fought hard and made chances against us. Credit to their manager, their gameplan was very good. They took advantage of our right hand side, overloaded it and they created loads of problems down there.
Treat the League Cup with respect
It's a semi-final of a cup competition. The manager has to, and will, treat it like exactly that. Treat it with the respect it deserves.
There are players who need games. Konate needs games, Conor (Bradley) needs games, Tsimikas needs a game. In midfield, Elliott needs a game. Jota needs games, Nunez needs games.
They are the types of players that will be down to start straight away, I'm pretty sure. And that's still a really strong side.
Sign someone in January!
I would like to see us bring someone in in January, I really would. I know I've said I'd like a striker in the past - If Nunez was to go, people talk that they need a striker - but at the moment you can get away with it. Slot can get away with what he's got at the moment.
I'm just worried about centre halves a little bit, if something was to happen. Konate and Joe Gomez have been injury-prone, young Quansah, and if something happened to Virgil, god forbid.
But if there is a player that they are looking at for the summer who becomes available now in January, then get him. If you can get him now, get him now rather than wait until the summer.
Go out and pay the premium for him. They'll have a plan and know the players they are looking at. Just bring him in, get him to find his feet at Liverpool before next season. And in the meantime, hopefully he'd help us in the charge for the Premier League title and the other cups.
Even if you have to pay a little bit more because it's January, just do it because of the position that we're in. If it's the difference between winning trophies and falling short, it will be more than worth it.
