Liverpool learns date and time of Newcastle and Plymouth fixtures - full February schedule revealed
The time and date of two Liverpool matches in February have been confirmed, with the Reds informed when matches against Plymouth Argyle and Newcastle United will take place.
The Plymouth encounter in the FA Cup is set to be played on Sunday 9 February (15:00 GMT/ 10:00 ET kick-off). While that news was only announced on Friday, Arne Slot and his coaching team would have all but known that given it was the only possible date available.
Liverpool plays Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup on 6 February and then faces Everton in the rearranged Merseyside derby on 12 February, so the Plymouth game could only realistically have been slotted in on the Sunday.

Meanwhile, the time and date of the final Premier League match of February has been confirmed. The English top flight announced February’s scheduling plans on 18 December but omitted the final round of midweek matches until the FA Cup fourth-round draw was concluded.
But the Premier League have now confirmed the dates for all 10 matches, including Liverpool’s home match against Newcastle, which will take place on Wednesday 26 February at 20:15 GMT (15:15 ET).
All 10 matches will be played in midweek and shown on TNT Sports in the UK, with Brighton v Bournemouth, Crystal Palace v Aston Villa, Wolves v Fulham and Chelsea v Southampton all set to take place on Tuesday 25.
The following day sees Brentford v Everton, Tottenham v Manchester City, Manchester United v Ipswich Town, Nottingham Forest v Arsenal at 19:30 GMT (14:30 GMT) before Liverpool’s game against Newcastle, meaning all of the current top four in the league will play that evening.
The final match sees West Ham United host Leicester City on Thursday 27 February, although that match will be moved to Tuesday 25 if the Foxes progress to the next round of the FA Cup and is paired against a side competing in the Champions League.
The news means Liverpool now knows its entire February schedule, presuming it finishes in the top eight of the Champions League league phase and avoids the play-off round.
