Liverpool line-up for PSV as Darwin Nunez absence explained and full debut handed out
Jayden Danns will lead the Liverpool attack having been handed a first senior start for the Champions League clash at PSV Eindhoven this evening. Danns, a 19-year-old Academy graduate who already has three goals for the first team, is one of nine changes made by Arne Slot from the team that cruised past Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Saturday.
Darwin Nunez travelled with the 21-man squad to Holland but misses out on the bench due to illness. Cody Gakpo will be on the left wing against his former team, one of only two players to remain in the starting line-up.
Federico Chiesa completes the front three on the right for only his second start since arriving from Juventus last summer.

In midfield, James McConnell makes only his third Liverpool start after two in the earlier rounds of the FA Cup last season, while Wataru Endo is alongside the 20-year-old in the deeper roles with Harvey Elliott the number 10.
