Liverpool line-ups for Everton as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Darwin Nunez decisions made
Liverpool travel to Goodison Park for the final time tonight. The last-ever Merseyside derby at the ground is sure to be an emotional occasion for Everton supporters.
But for travelling Reds fans, the only thing that matters is getting the win that would open up a huge nine-point lead over second-placed Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
So how should Liverpool head Arne Slot line-up after Sunday's embarrassing 1-0 FA Cup defeat at Plymouth Argyle? Our writers have their say...

So to the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park then. There will inevitably be a wave of emotion that comes with this game from the Blues half of the city but for a pragmatic Liverpool, there is a Premier League title to be won.
With that being said, this is not the game to risk Trent Alexander-Arnold given it is the first of five games in a little over a fortnight, so Conor Bradley starts. The Northern Ireland international's combative style will be needed in spades, you suspect.
Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk return to the side and Andy Robertson comes in at left-back. It's a totally new back five from Sunday's miserable FA Cup exit at the hands of Plymouth as Alisson Becker also starts in goal.
In midfield, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai all return and if that influential and in-form trio turn up on the night, the advantage will most certainly be with the Reds.
Mohamed Salah is recalled and Cody Gakpo, Liverpool's Player of the Month for January, is named off the left. Through the middle is Darwin Nunez, whose defensive qualities from set-pieces will be an important aspect on the night. The Uruguay striker was excellent against Tottenham Hotspur last week and deserves the nod.
My team (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Nunez.

You may have heard it's the final Goodison derby. But for Liverpool, it's just the next game to negotiate with the aim of winning the Premier League title. What, then, is Reds boss Arne Slot to do?
Having played an effective reserve team in the FA Cup loss at Plymouth Argyle at the weekend, it's time for Liverpool to go strong again.
That means Alisson Becker in goal with Ibrahima Konate and skipper Virgil van Dijk at centre-back. Andy Robertson can return at left-back, but I'd keep Conor Bradley ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back for now.
In midfield, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister return as the double pivot, with Dominik Szoboszlai as the number 10.
And up top, Mohamed Salah is on the right, Cody Gakpo down the left with Luis Diaz staying in the team but shifting to down the middle.
My team (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Diaz.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is back in team training, but I wouldn’t be risking him in the Merseyside derby, at least not from the start.
Conor Bradley being left at home altogether against Plymouth Argyle might suggest he was being held back for this one. He can start with the returning Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Andy Robertson and a very well-rested Alisson Becker.
Arne Slot has confirmed Curtis Jones is available to face Everton, but I’d limit him to substitute duty too. Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai all start after their weekends off.
In attack, it’s Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and one other. I’ll go for the natural number nine in Darwin Nunez ahead of Luis Diaz as a false nine.
The Uruguayan’s height and physicality could be vital at both ends, with Diaz and Diogo Jota - who is still only just back from injury - held back in reserve.
My team (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Nunez.
