Liverpool next 5 fixtures compared to Arsenal after Gunners suffer shock defeat
Liverpool was handed a major boost in the Premier League title race as Arsenal was beaten by West Ham at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
A victory for the Gunners would have closed the gap between first and second to just five points, but now the Reds will have the chance to move 11 points clear with a victory over Manchester City on Sunday.
The game against City is the fourth in the run that the Reds are currently on of five games in 15 days, and that run will conclude with the home game against Newcastle next Wednesday.
Liverpool currently has just one Premier League game scheduled for March, against the doomed Southampton, before a Merseyside derby at Anfield to kick April off, and then a trip to Fulham.

Arsenal won 2-0 at Leicester last weekend but there were warning signs in the performance as Mikel Arteta's men struggled to break the Foxes down with a makeshift forward line.
Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are all out injured and a front three of Leandro Trossard, Ethan Nwaneri and Mikel Merino had little impact against West Ham.
Next up for Arsenal is back-to-back away games against Nottingham Forest and Manchester United, before Chelsea visits the Emirates on March 16.
Another home London derby against Fulham kicks off April, before a trip to Everton on April 5 — a game which looks a lot tougher now than it did a couple of months ago.
