Liverpool next five fixtures compared with Arsenal and Premier League title rivals
Liverpool have sealed back-to-back wins after defeating Ipswich Town 4-1 at Anfield. Dominik Szoboszlai scored the opening goal inside 11 minutes before Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo also capitalised before the break.
Gakpo then bagged his second of the afternoon - shortly after the the hour-mark - while Jacob Greaves netted a consolation goal in stoppage time. The Premier League leaders remain six points off Arsenal who beat Wolves 1-0 at Molineux - with plenty of drama coming in that one.
Mikel Arteta's side secured a significant win in the Premier League title race, despite being down to ten men after Myles Lewis-Skelly was sent off in the first half. Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, were stunned 5-0 in an eye-catching defeat to AFC Bournemouth on the south coast.
