Liverpool set for final Khvicha Kvaratskhelia transfer verdict as 'verbal agreement' reached
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia amid links with Liverpool. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Ligue 1 giants have reached a settlement, in principle for the 23-year-old ahead of a €70million (£58m).
The Reds are long-standing admirers of the Georgian international, the ECHO understands, and Arne Slot's side were thrust into the conversation around the coveted winger when a report from The Athletic claimed that Liverpool could enter the race should the Serie A club decide to move him on this month.
Napoli manager Antonio Conte revealed over the weekend that the attacker had put in a transfer request to depart the club. However, it appears that Luis Enrique's side will win the race for Kvaratskhelia.

Liverpool have an embarrassment of riches in attacking areas, with the added firepower of Federico Chiesa - who opened his account during the 4-0 win over Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.
The Reds are facing speculation over the future of Mohamed Salah, who will become a free agent in the summer, and Darwin Nunez - who can play on the left wing. Luis Diaz, who turned 28 on Monday, has previously been the topic of discussion over his future following supposed interest from Barcelona.
