Liverpool stance revealed on Stoke City loan amid 'interest from Championship trio'
Liverpool are reportedly pleased with Lewis Koumas's loan spell at Stoke City amid claims that three Championship rivals will try to steal the teenager this month.
Koumas has already made 29 appearances for Stoke this season, including 22 starts, in his first campaign of regular men's football. He has scored four times and set up another two while playing under four different bosses, including Ryan Shawcross's caretaker spell.
The Daily Mail claims that his form has been attracting interest from 'long-term admirers' Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion, where his dad Jason is a club hero, as well as Watford.

But they add: "Despite Stoke struggling to stay clear of the relegation places and recently changing manager, appointing Mark Robins last week, Liverpool continue to be happy with his progress and the experience he is gaining... Stoke remain hopeful that they can keep him as they look to make a late charge of their own up the table."
Koumas's time at Stoke has seen him further his international claims and he has made another three appearances for Wales in the Nations League. He has now been joined at the bet365 Stadium by Wales assistant manager James Rowberry, who is a new assistant to Robins.
He signed a long-term contract at Liverpool before heading out on loan.
Koumas is one of four loan players playing regularly at Stoke, along with Tottenham centre-half Ashley Phillips, Brighton playmaker Andrew Moran and Leicester striker Tom Cannon.
The Potters are expected to use the fifth available loan spot this month as Robins gets his chance to put a stamp on the squad.
