Luis Diaz comes back into the Liverpool team to take on West Ham United today with Arne Slot having named his starting XI at the London Stadium.

The back four remains the same with Alisson Becker in goal and Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson in front of the Brazilian. Kostas Tsimikas and Jarell Quansah are options in reserve.

With Dominik Szoboszlai suspended, Curtis Jones starts as the number 10. Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch are alongside him. Harvey Elliott is the main option to come off the bench to bolster the center of the field.

In the Liverpool attack, Diaz is joined by Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo. Diogo Jota is on the bench again while Darwin Nunez and Jayden Danns are alongside the Portuguese.

"You’re sitting in front of the Liverpool manager; so, there is always pressure at this club, if you are one, two, three, four or five in the table," Slot told reporters in his pre-match press conference when asked about the lead his side currently has in the table.

"If you work at a big club like Liverpool there is always the pressure. I think last season halfway through the season, were they also number one? I think they were last season. So, it’s not so strange for a club like us to be on top of the league.

"But we know how many good teams there are in this league and they’re able to win almost every game as well. There’s no extra pressure — there’s always pressure if you work at a club like Liverpool."
