Liverpool toughest five Premier League matches remaining compared to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest
Liverpool are belatedly past the midway point of their Premier League season. The 1-1 draw away to Nottingham Forest was match number 20 of 38 of the campaign.
It is only the sixth game they have not won, five of which have been draws. Their only defeat came against the same opponent at Anfield four months to the day of that reverse fixture. Arne Slot's side failed to beat Forest on both occasions, but only three other teams may be able to make that claim this season.
Those clubs are Arsenal, Fulham and Newcastle United after the trio drew their matches with the Reds last year. Therefore, those reverse fixtures are among their most difficult remaining games, as highlighted below...

Everton (A) - 12 February
Aside from this fixture being the last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park and the first since David Moyes' return as manager, the Reds do not have a good recent record away against Everton. Draws have dominated the last decade, with Liverpool winning just one of their seven previous trips across Stanley Park and losing the penultimate one.
Manchester City (A) - 23 February
As below-par as Manchester City have been this season, they have still only lost twice at home in the league, to Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. It is also approaching a decade since the Reds won a league match in east Manchester, Jurgen Klopp's first visit as Liverpool manager.
Newcastle United (H) - 26 February
Three days after they play Manchester City, Newcastle United are Liverpool's opponents at Anfield. The Reds have won their recent meeting on Merseyside, but they have rarely been routine victories.
Chelsea (A) - 3 May
In recent memory, Liverpool have emerged victorious over Chelsea more often at Wembley Stadium than at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have won at Anfield more recently than the Reds last emerged from west London with three points four and a half years ago.
Arsenal (H) - 10 May
Liverpool's penultimate home match of the season sees the Gunners go to Anfield potentially days after a Champions League semi-final second leg. The Reds have not lost to Arsenal at Anfield since Mikel Arteta was still playing in midfield for them, and a draw may be enough by this stage of the campaign.
