French outlet L'Equipe reports that Paris Saint-Germain is interested in signing Mohamed Salah, as uncertainty continues to linger around his Liverpool future.

Salah is out of contract at the end of the season, and although he is seemingly open to extending his stay on Merseyside, he has said on several occasions in recent weeks that an agreement over a renewal is not close.

One of L'Equipe's journalists, Loic Tanzi, said in a video on Tik-Tok: “Mohamed Salah to Paris can be done, but it likely won’t happen as Salah is likely to stay at Liverpool. He’s in talks over an extension, but next summer, Paris will do everything to bring him in.”

Meanwhile — and this report comes from Spanish outlet Fichajes, so it should be taken with a shovel of salt — Liverpool is apparently one of three clubs interested in signing Real Madrid's former Manchester City player Brahim Diaz, with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich also keen.

It is claimed that Diaz's failure to nail down a spot in Carlo Ancelotti's team has prompted interest in his services from other top clubs in Europe.

Finally, Chelsea journalist Simon Phillips claims the Stamford Bridge club is interested in potentially signing Darwin Nunez from Liverpool this month. Phillips also says that Chelsea was previously interested in signing the forward when Jurgen Klopp was in charge, only for Klopp to veto a move.

The Athletic's Liverpool correspondent, James Pearce, however, said that Liverpool was not entertaining the idea of letting Darwin Nunez leave this month, even before his match-winning brace at Brentford. Pearce wrote: "Liverpool have not received any offers for Nunez this month, amid speculation about possible interest from the Saudi Pro League, but doubts about Nunez’s long-term future remain. There’s a big decision to be made in the summer but he was never going anywhere this month."
