Liverpool transfer news as replacements for two legends eyed amid Kelleher update
Liverpool is reportedly targeting Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez as long-term replacements for Reds stalwarts Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.
Alexander-Arnold could leave Anfield next summer, with Real Madrid interested in signing him on a free transfer, while Robertson turned 30 this year and the Reds are understandably putting a plan in place for the future.
Caught Offside says Liverpool is eyeing up both Frimpong and Kerkez in the coming months, and that talks have already taken place over a move for Frimpong.

Frimpong has emerged as one of the most exciting right-sided players in the world in recent times, excelling as a right wing-back in Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen team.

On the other side of defense, Liverpool has been frequently linked with Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez since the beginning of the season, with the 21-year-old Hungarian having impressed for the Cherries this term.
Arne Slot was rotating Robertson with Kostas Tsimikas until Tsimikas picked up an ankle injury in November, and the Scot has made several errors since the beginning of the season, conceding penalties against Southampton and Real Madrid, and being sent off against Fulham.
Meanwhile, Newcastle is apparently keeping tabs on Caoimhin Kelleher's situation at Liverpool ahead of a potential swoop for the goalkeeper next summer.
Kelleher has made plenty of appearances for the Reds under Arne Slot owing to Alisson's injury struggles, but the Dutchman consistently maintained that Alisson would be his No.1 goalkeeper upon his return to fitness and that has proved to be the case.
Kelleher stated his wish to leave Liverpool in September due to a desire to be a first-choice goalkeeper, and that opportunity could come at Newcastle.
Newcastle is reported by TEAMtalk to be a big admirer of Kelleher, with Eddie Howe apparently keen to bring him in to provide competition to Nick Pope, who has faced his own struggles with injuries of late.
Kelleher is far more likely to displace Pope as Newcastle's No.1 than he is to take Alisson's place at Anfield, and the opportunity to join a club like Newcastle would surely appeal to the Ireland international.
